Peerless Enters Conference Management Field

Dayton, OH (December 8, 2005)—Peerless Technologies Corporation announced today that it has been awarded a three year contract to provide conference support services to the technical directorates of the Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR). Under this contract, Peerless will provide a one-stop-shop for organizing, planning, and executing special events, meetings, conferences, program reviews, scientific symposia, and workshops. Peerless’ support facilitates the interaction and exchange of information between AFOSR Program Managers, AFOSR-sponsored contractors/grantees, researchers in the Air Force and DoD laboratories, and researchers in academia and industry.

As an organization within the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), AFOSR’s mission is to manage the discovery and initial development of the leading edge of research while identifying potential new concepts and opportunities that will serve the Air Force in the future. To accomplish this role, AFOSR focuses the basic research community (government, academia and industry), including numerous Nobel Laureates, on the vital task of supporting Air Force warfighter requirements. Basic research provides the essential foundation for technology development and systems acquisition.

This contract represents Peerless entry into the Conference Management field. As such, Peerless has established the Management Services business segment, headed up by Ms. Andrea Kunk. The Management Services segment will offer professional business and management services to its government clients.
