Director, C4ISR Programs

Job Description:
The C4ISR Director will report directly to the President of the corporation and will oversee the identification, evaluation, development and management of all business within the C4ISR business segment. 

The position responsibilities include:

·         Develop and execute a strategic plan for the C4ISR segment – establishing a three-year growth pipeline consistent with the corporation’s and segment’s vision, goals and objectives.

·         Develop and maintain sales and profit projections, and execute a sales and management process to meet stated projections. Update projections on a periodic basis when requested by the corporation.

·         Lead all phases of the C4ISR business development activities, including – identification, qualification, capture, and bid.  Perform market research and analysis and maintain a current understanding of the changing procurement environment.

·         Develop strategic alliances with teaming companies and universities as applicable.

·         Develop and maintain customer relationships in order to establish new work as well as to grow existing work.

·         Assure the satisfactory execution of all contracts and delivery orders within the C4ISR segment including but not limited to assuring cost, schedule and performance issues.

·         Develop and continually manage the C4ISR organization structure; including management of all staff, and subordinate managers, assigned to the C4ISR segment.

·         Identify and participate in marketing events, such as trade shows and seminars that support market growth objectives.

·         Work closely with members of the corporate staff on issues including contracts, human resources, accounting/finance, and security.

·         Provide general technical leadership to the C4ISR business segment by casting a technical vision for the organization.

Location:
Dayton, Ohio

Education:
Bachelor of Science degree or higher in business, marketing, engineering or technical discipline.

·         Proven expertise in the core skill areas of C4ISR, and existing relationships with customers for these capabilities.

·         10 to 12 years experience in government contracting, including management, sales, and/or business development.

·         Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·         Track record of maintaining business relationships.

·         Proven experience in identifying, structuring, and implementing strong teaming agreements.

·         Strong negotiation skills.

·         Excellent communication, presentation and listening skills.

·         Strong PC skills, including experience using MS Office (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint), MS Project, Internet Explorer or Netscape Web Browsers, or equivalent.

·         Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives.

·         Strong organizational skills and professional business practices.

·         Experience in developing and successfully executing acquisition strategies for medium and large contracts.

 Desired Skills:

·         MBA or equivalent

·         Program Management Institute certification.

Possess or be able to Obtain TS/SCI
